Given that the current PyQt-Mac distribution includes the latest version of everything, I'm curious to know what you mean by "a more workable environment." One thing I am looking into is adding support for Python 2.4.1. I've found that to be more stable/robust for some other projects I work on, and I can probably get a new installer put together without too much additional work.
