Thanks for the quick reply, and also for your efforts to package this 
all together.  I'm interested in QT4 also because they claim the 
windows version will be GPLed.   For the time being I'll continue to 
play with Eric on Mac, because it's such a great IDE.  Maybe I'll try 
my hand at a build, and see if can can trade speed for the occasional 
crash.
