I was trying to use django-piston 0.2.3 for my Django application to create an API.
However, I was facing one exception as follows,

I was facing same issue when running my app on localhost and I found that there is some issue related to simplejson for Django 1.4 version and on wards.
However, I found one patch from somewhere online
http://sources.seinlet.com/rdiff/django-piston?csid=40645e760ea2cb9a37d87c9352607b3fa7fac346&u&N

This patch helped me to solve the problem on localhost by editing emitters.py in 'usr' directory.
However, the problem now I am facing is I cannot make changes on piston framework which is installed on my Heroku server.

So, I wanted to ask whether this patch will be provided in next version of Piston framework or this problem is not faced by anyone so the patch will never get merged.

Thanks,

Sandesh
