Hi PYPI-admins,
I'm in the process of creating a twitter-bot that publish new (and modules updated from <= 2.7) Python 3 modules to a feed. What would be a fair timeframe between requests to the changelog?

Right now I'm thinking about requesting for updates once every few minutes (we want the feed to almost feel like it's live, right, it's twitter after all...)

Would you/the servers mind if I ask pypi for the changelog every few minutes or would you rather have it in another way?

Thanks for your time and PYPI.

/Daniel

Checking the change log every few minutes is absolutely fine; this is the intended usage.

You may also consider subscribing to pubsubhubbub instead, in which case you don't need to poll at all, but get informed right away whenever a change happens.
