My package (PyNEURON at pypi) wraps the NEURON software and was recently changed to allow end-users to compile NEURON extension modules. This require the existence of a minimal compilation environment for Windows, which I provide by bungling some mingw components. Thus my package size has increased dramatically from just 2M to 35M, and I get a "distribution file too large" error when uploading the new vesion.
Is it possible to upload such packages? Is there a way to work-around this? I really need those files and you can't assume the end-user on Windows will have any compatible compiler installed...
