[Pypgsql-users] async usage

Is there a good way to use pyPgSQL in a non-blocking way? I saw some 
stuff about this in the documentation but the PQconnectStart function 
doesn't seem to be implemented. All I could find on that were mailing 
list posts from 2002 saying it is kind of broken.
