[Pypgsql-users] setup on SuSE 7.3

Hi,

I'm trying to install pypgsql-2.0.tar.gz on a SuSE 7.3 Linux box. I 
started my build with:

python setup.py build

and got following error:

gcc: unrecognized option `-R/usr/local/pgsql/lib'

I use following version of gcc:
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-suse-linux/2.95.3/specs
gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)


What am I doing wrong?
