Dear developers Hello, I'm Kohei SASAKI from Japan. I'd like to use pyPENELOPE in Mac OS X (10.9.2). Could you tell me to install the program? Best regards, Kohei SASAKI |

Hi, I would be interested in the MacOS distribution of pypenolope. Btw, I tried to install using the source code alternative. Install seems to work, but i don't see the toolbar in the gui. Should pypenolope work under macosx? I use the Enthought python distribution, with wxpython. Best regards, Olof Jönsson PhD Student Physics and Astrononomy Uppsala University |

Hi, I would be interested in a mac version of pypenelope. I have the EPD python distribution installed in my computer and I also have the sources of penelope and penepma. Since I work in Xray microanalysis it can be useful for me to have a GUI for penelope for my work. Please tell me how I can help you to build this port, unfortunately I am not a programmer so I can test the software but not write it. John, I will look into the mac version of pypenelope. I need to find an easy way to bundle the graphical interface, the libraries and the Fortran programs. Sounds good for the geometries. I will be happy to include them. Phil |

Philippe Finally getting around to it. Logging in here from home, yes, a Mac version would be convenient. Will check out the windows version. I have quite a few geometries which I will try to document and send to you. Do you know your travel plans for San Francisco? Once I know when you and Xavier will be there, I will beat the bushes and see who wants to have a tutorial session during some free time.
