Michel Pelletier had the great idea of pulling together some common parsers into a pyparsers library, which could be distributed as a package dependent on pyparsing. (Pyparsing will stay in its current simple form, pyparsers will be provided as a second release package.)
So I've added a Pyparsers page to the wiki, at http://pyparsing-public.wikispaces.com/Pyparsers. If there is a grammar that you have found you are reusing over and over, think about submitting it to this library. We are still working out what the common extensibility API should be, or even if such a thing is possible. So far we have Michel's first submission, based on the searchparser.py example. Once we get a handful of submissions, I'll put them into a separately installable package for ease of reuse.
Thanks for kicking this off, Michel!
