    Hello Folks,
I'm new to pypanel, and love it!

Anyway, i know this probably isn't a pypanel issue, but how do i get pypanel to use icons for programs like emacs and xterm?  Right now they get the default.  Firefox, sylpheed, rox, etc icons show up.  Do i need to copy the icons to some other place or name?

    Thanks for any info,
    eric

If an application doesn't set its own icon Pixmap you can often do it in ~/.Xdefaults.  Here's how you'd do it for xterm -

      XTerm*iconPixmap: <path to Pixmap (xbm)>

Thanks.  That does worlk.  I had to download an xterm one (i don't have many xbm's on this box).

For some reason they show up in inverse on the panel, but for now i  can at least tell them apart.

Thanks for the tip.  It's been a long time since i used .Xdefaults...
