[PyOpenGL-Users] Newbie question....

Hi,

I did a lot of OPENGL at the university and was excited when I found that 
there was a port to Python!!, (a language a tinkered with a couple of years 
ago...)  Inspired to regain lost knowledge, I installed the module.  
Unfortunately, I found the following error message:

C:\Python22\Lib\site-packages\OpenGLContext>python drawcube.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "drawcube.py", line 13, in ?
    from OpenGL.GL import *
ImportError: No module named OpenGL.GL
===============================

Can anyone comment/help?

Looks like you need to install the PyOpenGL module.

Get it from here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=5988&release_id=137930


note: for the windows exe's you'll need numeric 21

You might want to check out the installation instructions here:

    http://pyopengl.sourceforge.net/documentation/installation.html

which should cover all of the various dependencies of PyOpenGL and 
OpenGLContext.
