I've been eliminating the hard-coded platform implementation restriction
(i.e. allowing people to write plug-ins for supporting other
platforms). In doing so I've had to rewrite the platform
implementations. I don't have a real Win32 or OS-X environment on which
to test, however.
Anyway, if someone could check out the code from CVS on those platforms,
run setup.py develop, and then test to see if we have working
extensions, GLUT, GLE and the like, that would be helpful.
There's also an experimental script in the src directory for
downloading/installing the GLUT and GLE dlls automatically on Win32 in
case someone wants to try that. I've also made it possible to
completely disable error checking by setting a flag before you import
the various modules (OpenGL.ERROR_CHECKING).
