Hello!
Now I made it work :-) I did put at a first try a self-built glut.dll 
(built with Borland or MinGW, don't know anymore) in the same directory 
as _GLUT.pyd, forgot about it, and installed later the glut.dll from the 
glut-3.7.6-bin.zip archive in c:\windows\system.

Now after I deleted the wrong glut.dll, everything works fine. Sorry for 
bothering you, and thanks for your help,
