glMap is used in the PyOpenGL Dek/texturesurf demos. However, it's used
with the glEvalMesh variants, not the single-coordinate variant. You
can also see NURBs done using GLU's nurbs wrappers in
OpenGLContext/scenegraph/nurbs and the RedBook demos. The Red Book has,
if I recall correctly, a rather extensive section on the glMap/glEval stuff.
