Well, thought I, a few moments before going to bed (a mere 4 or 5 hours ago). I'll take some time to work on getting mingw32 working. Blargh. The problem seems to be the interface_util static library that is getting linked to everything. The main (dll) libraries seem to be able to get the symbols from the dlltool'd lib*.a files, but the interface_util library is always producing failures. Darned if I can figure out why, and I'm now tired enough to not care again for a few days. If anyone cares to pound on this, it would be very cool to have it just magically fix itself :) , Mike _______________________________________ Mike C. Fixed them for the pycal3d package I did. The fixes are in www.py3d.org/pycal3d/ in the source package there, with the name distutils_mods.py. But I need to test those mods when using gcc, so that building with g++ is optional. I'll try and give it a go with pyopengl soon. |

I've poked through the module, but I'm not really sure which parts are bug-fixes, and which are just features you wanted (such as using g++ vs gcc (or is that a bug)). Is the use of the tempfile a requirement, or just a convenience? I don't think you get the sh shell without cygwin, do you? Does Mingw32 standalone include it?
