[PyOpenGL-Users] HDR image format support?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to quickly test some HDR algorithm ideas, and so I thought that PyOpenGL would let me build some apps quickly to try out my ideas. However, it's starting to look like that at least with the packages in Ubuntu, the recent extensions to add 16 bit / channel float formats aren't supported under PyOpenGL. Specifically, I'm looking for the stuff like ARB_color_buffer_float. Did I just miss how to use the extensions properly? Or is support really missing? If so, is there any plan to add support for any of the HDR-related image formats? Thanks! Graeme |
