These are the same instructions I had been following: I noticed I was missing a setup.py; so I couldn't figure out how this could work. Now I see that the size of my downloaded .tar.gz is slightly smaller than it should be. And indeed it was incomplete. Using 'python setup.py build_ext --force install' builds! Thanks, Herc |
