  Yes most of the demos run just fine. ( Except lesson6,18 in NeHe -
probably due to an error on my part. I get the message _imaging C module
not installed - I have to figure out what this means.)

I ran info.py and got: GLUT API Version 0x000b
( as you predicted it is < 0x0d )
Thanks for your help. I will now try to install glut3.7 (again because I
thought I did it a while ago but I was obviously wrong )
