Sounds great. Probably the best way to help is to try to use 4.x features and report any bugs. In *theory* all the entry points are there, but I expect there will be broken wrappers somewhere. If you can do your experiments/tests in a public repository so that they can be used as sample code for others, that would be a bonus.
