Running multiple tests, the texture/image cache is
failing for all gets save the first. Not sure why yet.

This is now fixed. It required moving the cache to
per-context operation (which was on the docket already).
That means that any code which relied on the old geometry or
texture APIs will have to make changes to accept a "mode"
argument with an attribute "cache". Cache API was also
cleaned up and optimised a little to make it more elegant.
