Hi,
to my best knowldge there is only one other interesting Free Software
implementation of the OGC standards besides pyogclib:
deegree (www.deegree.org)
It is certainly interestng for the pyogclib developers to have a look
into deegree who have the most complete implementations of the OGC
standards. Unfortunately in Java, which renders the problem of a
dependency towards a proprietary developement and runtime environment.
(Apart from my personal preference of Python over Java :-)
Deegree seems to be very well designed and it might make sense to
transfer some junks of the implementation simply from Java to Python.
