Yeah, if you don't call it at the end of the first plugin that gets
loaded, then it will crash, because that spot on the autorelease pool
has since long disappeared. recycleAutoreleasePool would've done the
same thing. In general it's not a good idea to keep a non-local
reference to an autorelease pool.
