I'm using a framework in my project called PSMTabBarControl.framework.
My setup.py looks like this:
== setup.py ============================
from distutils.core import setup
from os import path
app = ['dew.py'],
data_files = [
] + [
for p in os.listdir(path.join(path.dirname(__file__), 'Resources'))
When I build this program with "python setup.py py2app", I get a copy of
the frameworks in my bundle, and I made wrappers for them like so:
== PSMTabBarControl.py =================
I can import these modules and access the classes in the frameworks just
fine. However, it seems that the resources in these frameworks are not
being searched as I'd like. For example, the close buttons on the tabs
provided by PSMTabBarControl are non-existant because
NSImage.imageNamed_(...) can't find the images it needs in that
What is the correct solution to this? Should I copy the contents of
those framework's Resources to my app bundle's Resources, or is there a
search path that needs setting somewhere, or similar?
