  Yeah, IMHO, tla actually matches the work process of most developers 
more then cvs/svn do.

  Its simple to learn if you use it in the central repository/CVS style, 
but no one ever does that, because if they wanted to do that, they'd 
use CVS...

  Anyways, I found subversion underwhelming. Its "CVS done right", but 
I'm not sure that's the right goal...
