Bob, you're being needlessly patronizing. Threading with PyObjC, if used
correctly, _should_ work. Whether or not it's the right or the best
solution to the problem is not for us to decide. Maybe he has blocking C
calls to deal with? I don't know, don't care even.

I've very briefly looked at the example code, and I don't immediately
see anything obviously wrong. It seems totally possible we're looking at
a PyObjC bug.
