SF *should* already do this, a nightly tarball sits at a url like this: 
  http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cvstarballs/pyobjc-cvsroot.tar.gz (I can't 
verify the accuracy of this because SF is not responding at all for me 
right now).

However, I think that this is the actual repository, not a checkout..
