plat-mac for the stuff that works both on OSX and OS9, which is 
probably most.
plat-mac isn't currently on sys.path for darwin, but we would fix that 
too.

How about bringing this up on python-dev, and then (if people agree) 
submitting the
sourceforge support request? Please have the Mac/Lib subtree *copied* 
to plat-mac,
not moved. We still need it in the original location if we want to do a 
2.2.3 release.
