That'd make sense -- I would also like to shove a/the license in 
(currently, the MIT license is in the repository -- it seems to be the 
easiest / most open license around and I couldn't find a concise and 
appropriate version of the python license in a module context).

Oh.  Duh.  There is a Package Format Notes menu that I *completely* 
ignored...   will fix.

None that I can think of.  This version seems to be pretty rock solid 
to the point of being able to support complex application development.  
  The examples could use some cleanup, but that will always be the case.
