[Pympi-users] starting from scratch

I have a cluster of machines running debian.  I am not the system admin 
but he'll help with whatever I want to do.  I want to run pympi for a 
course in September.   My question is: "What needs to be installed  and 
in what order?".  I assume we need to install some kind of MPI system 
first then pympi.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
