Just for the sake of the uninitiated .... What are .p1m files and how do they differ from regular .pml files. I took a quick look at Sebastians file and it looked pretty much like a regular .pml file to me. I think indeed you found a bug with the parsing of p1m files. I have the same behaviour on my Linux computer. Nice choice of colors by the way. With them, you can embedded whole=20 structures and PyMOL commands in one file. You can do the same with a pml file here and a load command which loads=20 the pdb file there. But that is two files instead of only one. >=20 > > But, '#' doesn't work in p1m file. > > Error: unrecognized keyword: #second > > The # line involves an error but the script goes on. >=20 > I think indeed you found a bug with the parsing of p1m files. > I have the same behaviour on my Linux computer. >=20 > Nice choice of colors by the way. >=20 > Cheers, >=20 > Zac --=20 S=E9bastien Moretti http://www.igs.cnrs-mrs.fr/ CNRS - IGS 31 chemin Joseph Aiguier 13402 Marseille cedex |

Hi I have installed version 0.98 on my new dual processor machine running windows XP. Pymol runs fine, but when trying to load a large PDB file (~4Mb), the program crashes and I get a runtime error: "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way" Does anyone have some advice?
