Frank,

PyMOL's atom selection language is based on logical operators over sets of
atoms.

"and" is the intersection and "or" the union.  You're looking for 

   create forst2, (resi 1 or resi 32 or resi 356)

Using macros, this can be reduced to:

   create forst, 1+32+356/
