[PyMOL] get_view on native mac os X

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could explain how to use get_view on the
native version - which only has the pymol viewer window - when you don't
seem to be able to cut text from that..??

Perhaps if you start logging from the command line, but I don't know how
to do that either..

ADvice would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. The fink version didn't seem to work for me (I'm too inexperienced
in these things I guess), so I'd rather stay with the native one.
