[PyMOL] plotting atoms around aromatic side chain

hi all,

I am trying to graph the  diversity of amino acids on both planes of the
aromatic side chain of tryptophan, but not getting any hint of where to
start. Is there any way to map 3D coordinates on a 2d plot?
Please suggest.
