[PyMOL] cartoon question

I created several objects of my full-lenght protein. I want to be able to =
turn on & off the representation of each of the objects. Unfortunately, if =
I have 2 sequential objects that I want to represent by cartoons in =
different colors, the cartoon doesn't run continuously, i.e. there's a gap =
between the yellow(obj1) and the orange(obj2), even though they're defined =
as residue 1-10(obj1) and 11-14(obj2). If I color the residues in the full =
object, everything looks o.k., but for my purposes (a movie) they need to =
be in separate objects so I can turn things on & off at will.
