The current pymol 1.8.4.0 release produces slow rendering under Fedora 25's Gallium 0.4 drivers on the Radeon X1600 of a MacBook Pro 2006. The rendering seems oddly slow considering that the glmark2 program produces a score of 38.0 when rendering the rotating horse. Is pymol confused by the Gallium driver and downgrading the rendering on its on?
