Hello,

pyModSlave is a nice software, however I have one issue :
- I run 2 sessions of pyModSlave, one with salve ID 1, one with slave ID 2
- I use RS845 with bus topology (slave ID 1 is on COM1, slave ID 2 is on COM2)
- When I send a modbus request to slave 1, both sessions recieve the request
- Slave 1 answers wih correct answer, but Slave 2 answers with 0x81 0x04 error code

What can I do to avoid answer from Slave 2 ?

note : same problem occurs with the other way around.

Thank you for your help,

Laurent

    Hello,

thanks for writing in. I have never checked pyModSlave the way you did it. I will check the code and try to fix it asasp (I'm afraid that I don't check the slave ID).

    Best Regards
