If the user want to add value in hexadecimal, it is not possible to enter a, b, c, d, e or f (no matter the case).

The workaround is to calculate the value in decimal, enter it in this format and check the result by switching to the hexadecimal display.

I've test it again (version 0.4.3-1) and it seems that there is no problem (just select 'Hex').
