Dear All, I had some troubles in loading .mca spectra (version 5.6.5). I think the problem might be in the header lines splitting. Please, find attached my comments (.pdf format). Moreover, I have some concerns about the loaded livetime: the stored “Livetime” value is not the energy filter one (actual counting time), according to Ketek AXAS D manual (https://www.ketek.net/wp-content/uploads/KETEK-AXAS-A-D-with-VICO-DP-Manual-Rev1.6_March_2021.pdf ): “ The displayed Live Time is NOT the live time of the energy filter, rather it is a measurement of time that the triggering filter remained under threshold. This measurement, along with the number of times the threshold was crossed, or Fast Peaks, is used to calculate the input count rate. ICR = Fast Peaks / Live Time The Live Time of the energy filter is not displayed in software, but can be calculated according to: Energy filter Live Time = Real Time ۰ OCR / ICR The Dead Time percentage is displayed in software, calculated as: Dead Time = 1 – OCR/ICR ” Thanks for your effort.
