To me is much more sensible to include in the official SVN repo the
fixes you and others made in these months.
If you agree, I would ask you to send individual fixes/changes you
made, in order to evaluate them one by one. I remember one which I
did not like (which we will have to discuss about), and others which
instead I would like to have in.
The main point delaying a new release is about:
1. new experimental features I have implemented, which have to be
tested and documented.
2. documentation needs fixes wrt recent changes.
