It'd be great if everybody could quickly run the tests on their system. It's easy and doesn't mess with any installed version: To me is much more sensible to include in the official SVN repo the fixes you and others made in these months. If you agree, I would ask you to send individual fixes/changes you made, in order to evaluate them one by one. I remember one which I did not like (which we will have to discuss about), and others which instead I would like to have in. The main point delaying a new release is about: 1. new experimental features I have implemented, which have to be tested and documented. 2. documentation needs fixes wrt recent changes. Many thanks for the extremely valuable support. r. |
