Thanks to Mauro's hard work, we have just released our first Pydoop version with support for Apache Hadoop 2 (tested with 2.2.0). This release also adds explicit support for Hadoop 1.2.1.

We are happy to announce that Pydoop has been included in the Homebrew Python Tap.
You should now be able to install on Mac OS X Mountain Lion as follows:
JAVA_HOME according to your JDK installation, e.g., export JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_17.jdk/Contents/Home/We've released Pydoop-0.9.1, which fixes a build issue in Mac OS X. Other OS's are not affected by this update.
Pydoop 0.9.0 is out!

Hello OS X users!
We have written a Homebrew formula for Pydoop. We don't know if or when it's going to be accepted; for now you can get the formula from github and test it locally. Here is the link to the pull request:
Version 0.8.0 adds support for Apple OS X Mountain Lion and Hadoop 1.1.1.
