I've build the pydoop0.10.0 with hadoop1.0.4,get the build error, and pip method also return the same error. There are error prompt as follows:
java_include_dirs: ['/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-18.104.22.168/include', '/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun-22.214.171.124/include/linux']

Has anyone else encountered this and conquered it?I've install boost lib for python.
Did you install the dev version of the Boost.Python library, as specified in the Pydoop docs? If so, you should see a bunch of header files under /usr/include/boost, including python.hpp
