[Pydev-code] FW: WRWB search in files under version control

Hello Pydev experts,

I’m finding that in the Pydev editor, “Ctrl+delete” (Delete next word) tends to delete too much.

The issue also affects the “move word” shortcuts (Ctrl+Cursor-right/left).

I did some analysis and found that the JDT and CDT editors in Eclipse have resolved this, by implementing its own word boundaries (thus overriding the GTK defaults). Some background is here:

I find it very unfortunate that Eclipse behaves differently when I edit Java or C/C++ code, versus Python.
Could the Pydev Editor also implement this, same as JDT and CDT ?
Where would I file a respective enhancement request ?
