[Pydev-code] Unix-Like Selection in PyDev

Hello!

Is there a way to have "unix-style" selection in PyDev?

To be more specific: When I have selected a region in PyDev, it will be
overwritten when I start typing (the normal Windows-Like behaviour). Is it
possible to have only the selection deselected when typing?

If this is not specialy related to PyDev, how could I archive such a
behaviour?
