I have a shared eclipse+pydev installation on a multiuser Linux system. How can I configure preset interpreters for all users so everyone doesn\'t  have to do it when starting development?

Better yet, why isn't /usr/bin/python always automatically configured for _all_ UNIX-like systems?  Users can add another interpreter or modify that one if it doesn't suit their needs, but clicking through the same "yes, yes, it's the default one" wizard is always annoying.
