I've been using PyDev with Eclipse just fine for a while now, and have spent much time meticulously tweaking my various editor settings, including fonts and colors and such.

I just updated PyDev and it seems to now have this new "Theme" support which seems nice, but it completely obscures my existing settings that I would like to keep, rather than re-entering all my settings in PyDev's theme editor.

Is there any way to completely disable this theme support in PyDev and just have it use Eclipse's builtin settings like it used to? This includes the "PyDev Project Explorer" which I can't seem to change the font of regardless.

    Thanks, Nick

Additionally, I can't seem to disable showing line numbers in .py files anymore, PyDev seems to be overriding this.

    Hi Nick,

Please enter a feature request so that the aptana theming is not used. As for the pydev package explorer, you can change the font at window > preferences > general > appearance > colors and fonts > basic > text font > app explorer / outline view font.

As for the line numbers, you're right… it seems that's a bug in all the aptana studio 3 editors, so, please report it at https://aptana.lighthouseapp.com/

    Cheers,

    Fabio
