Is there some way to make the Interactive Console respect the keybindings I've specified in the Eclipse preferences?   I'd love to use ctrl+A and ctrl+E to jump to the beginning/end of a line.  I tried to do this by binding "Line Start" to ctrl+A when "In Console View", but that didn't seem to do it.  Any suggestions?

Argh . . . am I the only one who has this problem?  I'm just getting started with Python (and Eclipse, for that matter), and I LOVE PyDev so far.  And that Interactive Console is freakin' great.  The only frustrating thing about it is that I feel crippled without my keybindings.  Is there a way to enable them?  What am I doing wrong?

Please create a bug for that… I think the console has some keys hardcoded (and they should use the commands API).

    Cheers,

I've created bug 3049914 for this issue.  Hope that's clear enough.  Sorry I don't know enough about Eclipse to help out myself.
