    hi,

it took me way too long to figure this out, but python files with "-" in their name do not appear to work properly in pydev package explorer(and hence not getting passed to pylint either).

is there a setting somewhere to change this? or is this some limitation of eclipse and java enforcement?

    thanks
    lex

      Hi Lex,

Actually, that's more of a python limitation. You could never have a module named aa-bb and import it from anywhere -- it'd give you a syntax error in that import -- and that's probably why PyLint doesn't work properly, as it has to resolve that module and the module name doesn't end up being valid -- as for the pydev package explorer, what exactly doesn't work?

      Best Regards,

      Fabio

      hi fabio,

thanks for the information.  I've renamed all files with - to _.

not sure what to call it but, the package explorer would not work.  (The little triangle to expand what class/objects are in the file).

      thanks,
      lex
