when auto format is turn on with option make spaces before save it makes spaces inside string constants
eg. 'type-code' convert to 'type - code'

    I wasn't able to reproduce that. Can you attach some example code where that happens?

    It seems that bug should be different. It is probably ok for valid py files.
    But problem can occur during editing when has parse error and is saved.
    It this case string and code regions can be switched. Eg additionl ' exists at begining of file and after that strings are broken. I guess that formatting should be done only with files withou compile errors.
