#756 Console not working properly on Mac OS

Starting up the console on Mac OS 10.5.4, I get the following error:

import sys; print '%s %s' % (sys.executable or sys.platform, sys.version)
Failed to read servers response: Connection refused

The only exception is when I start the pydev console as the first thing after starting eclipse, but the error occurs again in any future attempts to start it. After showing the error message, the console works fine, but there is no possibility to get a session for the current file etc.

No firewall enabled (but doing so does not make a difference).

    Can you check that in 1.3.19 (I still haven't been able to get on a Mac OS to check it, but a bug in linux was fixed, and I think it could be the same thing)

    1.3.19 behaves the same way.
